Sav-a-Life of Northwest Florida, Inc., DBA, Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center, is an affiliate of Care Net, a national pregnancy center support organization.  Safe Harbor began in 1989 when a group of people of multidenominational Christian faiths came together to create a place where women in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties facing a difficult pregnancy decision could find education and help in their time of need.

Since those early days, our non-profit has grown considerably from a handful of volunteers to a team of 11 staff (3 full-time and 8 part-time), 50 volunteers, and a 9-member board of directors all of whom financially support the non-profit they serve.

It is our goal to protect life, share hope, and empower families to make healthy life-affirming choices.  In 2007, we doubled the number of mothers served when we began offering our ultrasound service.

All of our confidential services are offered at no cost to our clients.  We rely completely on the generosity of local churches, organizations, and individuals that partner with us financially.
